Sales Navigator exports

Sales Navigator has no export button

How do I export a Sales Navigator search to CSV?

Sales Navigator has no export button, by design, and a lead list export carries no email addresses. Cuvy reads the search results page in the browser you already have open, works down every page of it, finds and checks a work email for each person, and hands you a CSV. You are charged one credit per person found, and nothing for a miss.

The boundary

What the word export means inside Sales Navigator

It is a lead record, not a contact record. Everything LinkedIn shows you about a person travels; the address you would send to was never there to travel.

Sales Navigator is where the search happens rather than a rival product, and what a seat includes varies by contract. The right-hand column describes the export as it stood in August 2026; check your own seat before assuming it has one.
The route

Four steps, and you watch none of them

  1. Open the lead search you already use

Your filters, your spotlights, your saved list. Cuvy reads the results page in the session you are signed into, so there is nothing to paste and nothing to set up a second time.

    Your own session
  2. Look at the count before anything is spent

It counts the leads across the pages it can reach and shows what the run would cost. The number you see is the ceiling, and nothing is charged until you start it.

    Priced first
  3. Start it and leave

It works down the pages at a human pace and keeps going once you close the tab. Sales Navigator sees the pages you had already opened, and nothing else.

    Tab can be closed
  4. Take the CSV

Names, titles and companies as Sales Navigator shows them, with a checked work address beside each person we found one for and the source it came from.

When the search is deeper than the pages go

Every search tool stops paging somewhere. The way around it is the one you already use for exports: cut the search into slices.

Sales Navigator will not page indefinitely, and no extension can read what the site declines to render. The practical fix is to narrow the search until each slice fits inside the pages you can actually reach: headcount band first, then geography, then industry. Headcount splits a B2B list most evenly, which means fewer slices for the same coverage.

Slices overlap, and overlap is where this normally costs money. Here it does not. A person who appears in three of your slices is charged once — the credit is spent the first time an address for them is handed over and never again — so you can cut a search as finely as the filters allow, and re-cut it next quarter, without paying twice for anybody.

If it is a search you run on a rhythm rather than once, save it. A re-run charges only for people who were not on it last time, which turns a monthly sweep of your whole territory into the price of the movement in it. Saved searches covers how that is scheduled.

What comes out

Three numbers worth knowing before you start

Each one answers a different question: how much of the list you get, how long you wait, and what it works out at.

74%
of the leads on a typical B2B search come back with an address

Measured per person across finished runs. Software and technology lists sit above it; very small businesses sit well below.

3.8s
of processing for 400 people

The run continues after the tab closes, so what you actually wait for is the notification rather than the progress bar.

$0.0098
per address on the $49 plan and its 5,000 allowance

The figure worth comparing between tools is the price of an address you can send to, not the price of an attempt.

Questions

What Sales Navigator users ask about exporting

Can I export a Sales Navigator lead list to CSV without an extension?

Sometimes, depending on the seat. Where a lead list export or a CRM sync is included, what travels is the lead record — name, title, company and the fields Sales Navigator holds about them. Email addresses are not among those fields, because Sales Navigator does not hold them. That gap is the same whether you export the list or copy the page by hand.

Which plan do I need to run this on Sales Navigator?

Starter, $19 a month for 500 addresses, is the first plan that covers Sales Navigator and Recruiter, along with whole-search runs and saved lists. The free plan handles profile and search lookups on LinkedIn itself, which is the cheaper way to see whether the output is what you want before pointing it at a lead search.

How deep into one search can a single run go?

As deep as Sales Navigator will page. It stops somewhere, and an extension that reads the page you opened cannot read past the last page the site renders. For a search bigger than that, split it by headcount band and run the slices separately. Anyone who turns up in more than one slice is charged once, so there is no penalty for cutting it finely.

Does Cuvy need my Sales Navigator sign-in?

No, and there is no field to put one in. The extension reads the results page in the browser session you are already signed into, the way a person reading that page would. It never signs in from its own side and never holds a credential for your LinkedIn or Sales Navigator account.

I run the same lead search every quarter. Do I pay for the same people twice?

Only for the people who are new. Save the search and the scheduled re-run skips everyone the workspace has already paid for, so a quarterly sweep of a Sales Navigator filter bills the movement into it — new hires, new title matches, people whose company crossed a headcount band — not the whole list again.

Does the file include phone numbers?

The file has a mobile column, filled only for people you have run a mobile lookup on — that is a separate purchase at five credits rather than the one an address costs. The addresses are what a run fills in by default, and from Growth upwards it adds company and domain details beside them. If a dialler is the point of the export, budget for the second meter.
